While Hanna was in the land of sushi, ramen and cherry blossoms, I was in the land of sugar and spice -- Thailand, specifically Bangkok. Since my family and I been there a few times, this trip was free from the usual " crocodile farm/museum/temple-hopping". It was a trip purely for shopping and eating! Thanks for trip Dad and Mom!
We landed in Bangkok around mid-afternoon, so we didn't really have time to go around after checking in our hotel. We stayed in the Pullman Bangkok hotel and we loved our stay there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Bangkok. I loved that it provided a tuk tuk service to the sky train station!
Anyway, here are a few photos from our first day:
From left to right:
1 - The tuk tuk
2 - Dinner in Another Hound which is found in Siam Paragon
3 - Fried shrimps in spices and salt....yum!
4 - Loved the fountains outside the mall
5 - Cool window display in some store
6 - Riding the tuk tuk back to the hotel

Wow that looks so awsome! I'm going away this year with my dad but can't decide where to go. I originally wanted to go to Japan since I've been learning the language for something like 10 years but I also really want to shop and eat etc and Thailand looks great for this!
I'm just starting out with my blog. I want it to grow into something about Melb teen style.. I would love you to check it out and maybe give me some tips or swap links?
